Schaller amp heads Solo, Selection G II, Selection B1, and GS100 PA head; Hallgerat reverb unit, Rotor-Sound leslie emulator, and Echo-Reverb-Machine 2000; Schaller What-Wha, Tonverzerrer, Fuzz-Sustainer, Tremolo Tr., and Treble-Bass-Boost. I can vaguely remember the Schaller Tremolo Pedal as being a cult-ish item in the US; the other units here don’t ring a bell. Schaller is mostly known in the US as the manufacturer of high-quality tuning pegs for guitars, a role they have filled since the 1970s. You can still to-this-day find many otherwise flawless vintage electric guitars with amateurishly-applied Schaller tuners.

Update: a reader from the Netherlands sent in some pics of his recently-acquired Schaller KV25; an earlier vintage with top-mounted controls. Hope you fire it up and play some Shocking Blue riffs thru it Frans.

does anyone know what kind of tape the schaller echo reverb machine 2000 use.
and where to get it.
my tape is broken 🙁
Of someone couleur provide me with à schaller kv18 schematic, it would enable me to restore a otherwise Pristine combo with some clipped away electronics
I am still looking for other owners of a Schaller KV18. To exchange images so I can repair my amp.
1/4 inch tape was common on tape echo’s. Some tape and a reel of old reel to reel tape and you can make these yourself.
Hi, I recently acquired a very uncommon & very nice Schaller unit. It a KV 25 HEAD (!) plus a Schaller 212 BOX (huge!). Built 1977? I can not find any informations about this special amp combination.
Maybe you can help? Best regards, Alex Glösslein
Thats interesting! I can’t help you with details, though. May I ask what condition is it in, what does it sound like, and how much did it cost you?
I’m interested in a photo about that KV25 Head.
In the mean Time i aqcuired a Schaller KV35 (a 35 watt p.a. Head for 4 vocals) and an matching echo sound.
Hoi Frans,
Ik heb de mogelijkheid om een Schaller KV25 te kopen voor weinig geld.
Ik vind er echter weinig info over op het internet.
Mijn voornaamste vraag is:
Is dit een lampenversterker?
Zou leuk zijn moest jij mij hier een antwoord op kunnen geven.
Mvg,
Patrick
Een KV25 kan een hybride zijn. Of solidstate. Hangt van het jaartal af. A KV25 can be hybrid (power amp 2x el84) or solidstate. It depends on the year it was made.

Hello guys. I have a schaller 50kv I am looking for info about the amp. Everything works except the echo. Well it lights up but does not turn. There is a foot switch for the echo that I don’t have. Does anyone know it’s function. What does it do and what does it look like. I would love a Manuel or pictures and any info about the echo function. .
