Steve Lampen from Belden is the guy you want to talk to about anything to do with cable or wire. He wrote some really good articles for Radio World a few years back that should be in far wider circ than they are and if you could get authority to reprint them you'd be doing a big service.

I sure would love to find a reel of 8411. I use this for instrumentation interconnect cables and for this use - it is fantastic.
