Polyfusion Advert c. 1979

Several years ago I posted some of my collection of vintage Polyfusion documentation.  Although Polyfusion did frequently run small adverts in trade publications, I had never seen this full-page advert before.  Apparently, P/F also made guitar and bass preamps.  Wild, man.  Any Polyfusion users out there?  Drop us a line!

  • That console should be on the Death Star, controlling the big laser. Really impressive. What console was used in Close Encounters of the Third Kind?

  • Close Encounters used an ARP 2500, played by one of ARP's technical gurus, Phil Dodds. He was sent by ARP to simply install the 2500, but ended up being in the film to play it.
